Michael attended Luther College in Decorah, Iowa where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Biology. He started his career in Financial Services with Prudential Financial in 1997 and currently holds Series 6, 7, and 63 Securities Registrations through Private Client Services, LLC, as well as Series 65 and his Life/Health Insurance Licenses. Michael joined Nicolet Wealth Management in April 2026 in connection with Nicolet Bank's acquisition of MidWestOne Bank.
As a Financial Advisor, Michael provides investment and advisory services to clients in the Greater Dubuque area. He enjoys one-on-one discussions with his clients and specializes in retirement planning to help them pursue their unique financial goals.
Outside of the office, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife, Cynthia, and their two children, Vaughan and Hannah. Family adventures typically include cycling, hiking, kayaking or fishing. Michael has also volunteered as a football coach at the youth and high school levels for several years.
