This guide is designed to help MidWestOne business customers understand what their accounts will become at Nicolet National Bank. Please use the information below to identify your new account following the conversion on August 10, 2026.
Business Checking Accounts
Business Money Market and Savings Accounts
- Your current account will automatically convert on August 10, 2026.
- Your account number will remain the same and you will not need to complete any additional documentation.

Action Items to Take Before Conversion
Download eStatements Prior to August 7
Downloading MidWestOne eStatements prior is strongly encouraged. Historical eStatements will be limited and not immediately available. Customers who enroll in eStatements will access future statements and notices in Digital Banking for Business (fmr. MidWestOne). Business checking and savings accounts will receive a final statement from MidWestOne Bank as of Friday, August 7. eStatement customers will receive the final statement in the mail.
What to Expect During Conversion Weekend (August 7-10)
- MidWestOne branches will close at normal business hours on Friday and reopen Monday as Nicolet National Bank.
- Your accounts will move automatically to Nicolet Bank after the close of business Friday.
- MidWestOne debit cards will continue to work over the weekend. On Monday, please start using your new Nicolet debit card.
- Digital Banking for Business will be temporarily unavailable after 8:00 p.m. CT on Friday. Beginning Monday morning at 8:00 a.m. CT, log in at nicoletbank.com > Login > Digital Banking for Business (fmr. MidWestOne).
Note New SWIFT Code Change for International Wires
There is no change for domestic wires. There is a change for international wires.
After August 7, MWO’s SWIFT code MIDWUS42 for international wires will no longer work. Customers should begin using the Nicolet Bank SWIFT Code NICTUS44 effective August 10, 2026.
Positive Pay
As part of the integration, the notification email address used for Positive Pay alerts will be changing.

If you are a user of Positive Pay, please add the new email address to your approved sender list or whitelist to help ensure notifications are delivered to your inbox and not filtered as spam. No other changes to the Positive Pay service are required.
ACH Reporting Notifications
As part of the integration, the process to retrieve Automated Clearing House (ACH) notifications and reporting will be changing. Effective August 10, when you receive a Notice of Return (NOR) or Notice of Correction (NOC) for an ACH item originated through Digital Banking for Business you will receive an email:

To locate your NOR or NOC to make corrections, you will log in to Digital Banking for Business nicoletbank.com > Login > Digital Banking for Business (fmr. MidWestOne):
- In Digital Banking for Business, on the top menu, choose Other Services > Positive Pay. You will be redirected to the Positive Pay site.
- Select “Transaction Processing”
- Select “ACH Reporting Files”
- Enter date range
- Select “Search”
- ACH reporting document will populate as a PDF which you can print and save.
All other aspects of ACH processing will remain the same as today with the exception of the same day ACH cutoff time, which will change from 12:00 PM CT to 12:30 PM CT.
Direct Deposits, ACH Payments, and Checks
Direct deposits, automatic payments (ACH), and checks will continue to work as they do today—no immediate action is needed.
Looking ahead, the MidWestOne routing number will be retired in 2027. Before then, you’ll need to update your direct deposits, automatic payments, and any checks that use this routing number. We recommend updating recurring payments as soon as possible.
If you have checks for this account, you may continue using your current check stock until the routing number is retired. When you reorder checks through the bank, they will automatically include Nicolet Bank’s routing number.
Access Digital Banking for Business
Digital Banking for Business will be temporarily unavailable after 8:00 p.m. CT on Friday, August 7 until Monday, August 10 at 8:00 a.m. CT.
All current MidWestOne Digital Banking for Business users will continue to use the same platform after conversion on August 10, 2026. However, access has moved to nicoletbank.com.
- Go to www.nicoletbank.com
- Click LOGIN
- Choose “Digital Banking for Business (fmr. MidWestOne)” in drop down menu.
- Enter current username, password, and token, if applicable.
Mobile App: Current MidWestOne Bank for Business app users will continue to utilize the same app they currently have, however the Bank name will change to Nicolet Bank - Business (MWO). Current users can log in with the same username, password, and token, if applicable.
Business Bill Pay
The bill pay service within Digital Banking for Business will remain the same. Payments and payees will be transferred. Bill Pay will be temporarily unavailable on Friday 8/7 at 8:00 p.m. CT through Monday 8/10 at 8:00 a.m. CT.
Business Mobile Deposit
There will be no changes to business mobile deposit after conversion. Business mobile deposit will be temporarily unavailable from 12:00 p.m. CT Friday 8/7 through Monday 8/10 8:00 a.m. CT
Activate Debit Cards
All customers who currently have active business debit cards (activity in the prior 12 months) will receive a new Nicolet National Bank debit card prior to Saturday, August 8. Please activate your new card(s) by calling the number on the front of the card. Customers may establish the same PIN number they have today when they call to activate their new card.
Starting Monday, August 10 at 7:00 a.m. CT, please begin using your new Nicolet Bank debit card and securely dispose of your old card.
Update Payments Using Debit Card
Debit card numbers will change. If you have automatic or recurring payments set up on your MidWestOne debit card, be sure to provide the new Nicolet Bank debit card information prior to Monday, August 10. Examples may include: vendor payments, shipping companies, subscription services, auto-reorders on supplies, etc.
