Mark Koch VP Portfolio Manager

Mark is responsible for investment selection and management for the Trust Department. He graduated with a double-major in Finance and Management Information Systems and earned his MBA – all from the University of Iowa. He joined MidWestOne Bank in 2024. Mark’s professional background spans more than 28 years of retail and institutional investment experience, including working as a licensed stock-broker for Transamerica (f.k.a. Life Investors), in corporate Treasury for Rockwell Collins, as a Structured Finance Research Analyst in institutional bond trading covering Residential Mortgage Backed Securities for AEGON USA Investment Management and as a Wealth Management Officer for Hills Bank. Prior to joining MidWestOne, Mark worked as a Portfolio Manager at US Bank.
