Program Overview
More Like Home™ Repair and Renew Loans
There are two programs with the new WHEDA More Like Home Loan program with up to $50,000 available for either a forgivable grant, or a low, fixed interest rate. Borrowers must meet the WHEDA income limits. The owner-occupied home must be over 40 years old. The work must be completed by a licensed contractor and a written and signed bid is required. The homeowner cannot complete the work. See a lender for the program guidelines and a list of allowable repairs or safety improvements (cosmetic repairs are not covered).
