Remote Deposit Capability Maximizes Business Productivity

Nicolet Bank Offers Deposit Capture Solution That Minimizes Time Commitment

Taking employees away from productive job responsibilities to run to the bank and deposit checks used to be a necessary distraction from daily business operations. Not anymore. Nicolet National Bank’s remote deposit capture solution minimizes that time commitment by providing a simple electronic method of processing checks.

Nicolet Bank offers a remote deposit capture solution that is integrated within the business online banking portal providing businesses with same-day credit and next-day availability for deposits received up to 8 p.m. CST. The result is fast deposits and fast access to funds.

“Businesses are provided with a check scanner and our staff will come to their location for set-up and training,” explains Jolene Hostak, vice president treasury management at Nicolet Bank. “The remote deposit capture solution speeds up the receivables deposit process by allowing employees to complete it right from their desk.”

Remote Deposit Capture is Convenient and Easy

Nicolet Bank, which offers interest-earning Real Rewards Checking and bankNOW to deposit checks with a mobile device for its consumer accounts, provides start-to-finish training for businesses to make an easy transition to remote deposit capture. The solution applies a virtual endorsement to each check, takes a picture of the front and back, and attempts to read check amounts all in fractions of a second.

Remote Deposit Capture offers deposit ability up until 8 p.m. CST. Since the system is integrated with business online banking, clients can see remote deposits pending throughout the business day online. Business are responsible for securely storing the physical checks. Nicolet recommends clients keep checks until all deposits are reconciled, at which point the checks can be shred. Business online banking offers businesses 16 months of account history including images of deposited items and the bank has 7 year retention requirements.

A monthly fee applies for use of the remote deposit system. Contact Nicolet Bank for more information or to schedule a consultation.
